Elevation Diagnostics is a respected environmental testing laboratory in Denver, CO, committed to great service, responsible growth, and keeping humans on the other end of the phone. They work with environmental consultants, municipalities, industrial and agricultural clients, and others who rely on accurate, timely testing to make informed decisions about water, soil, and environmental conditions.
Our challenge was to build a refreshed digital presence for Elevation Diagnostics that was credible enough for serious science, human enough to reflect the people behind it, and distinctive enough to stand out in a category with a whole lotta blue gradients and stock-photo lab coats.
We aimed to balance precision with personality: editorial typography, technical details, a charming little finch, and a voice that sounds human. They also needed their existing WordPress environment cleaned up, and we took their plugin list from 49 (!) down to just 8.
Environment-inspired graphics and textures, a visual system that flows down the page, and baked-in motion effects gain the brand some personality-driven altitude to go with their new laboratory location in Denver.
